POETRY CONEST WINNER - KELSEY L. SMOOT

Congratulations to Kelsey L. Smoot, who was selected by judge Marisa Crane (@marisa_crane) as the winner of the Spring 2021 Sad Girls Club Poetry Contest! Kelsey L. Smoot (They/Them/Theirs) is a full-time PhD student in the interdisciplinary social sciences and humanities. They are also a poet, advocate, and frequent writer of critical analysis.

Their winning poem is titled ‘The Body (in theory)’. Make sure to check out their poetry which will be posted tomorrow on the blog. Marisa Crane also selected 4 runner-ups. Congratulations to:
